I really like hearing about the innovative approaches folks come up with to fulfill a obstacle and make the entire world a much better location. That is absolutely the scenario in Rjukan, Norway. Many thanks to NPR.org for introducing me to Sam Eyde.Rjukan, which is about 70 miles west of Oslo, and boasts about 3,500 people, all of whom would like a lot more sunlight in their city during the chilly and dark wintertime. a hundred years in the past Eyde, one of the founders of Rjukan, was impressed by Archimedes
